Robert Taylor McDavid III

Killed in Action, Bagdad

He was a tank operator with the Army's 164th Armored Division, 3rd Infantry, but was on foot patrol with other soldiers in Baghdad at the time of the attack.

The 29-year-old was the son of Robert and Jean Alice McDavid of Starkville and was married to Tiffany Thornhill of Starkville. He was a fourth-generation Master Mason.

He was Past Master at the Abert Lodge in Starkville and a member of the Scottish Rite, the York Rite and Hamasa Shrine.
