Dear Brethren,

Just a note to let everyone know that since and just prior to Grand Lodge I developed terrible back pain. To those of you who were there could tell that I was in severe pain. As soon as I returned home I made an appointment with my Doctor in Jackson, who put 2 rods and 4 screws between L4 and L5 in 2012. After Xrays, an MRI and a Milogram, he decided to remove the rod on my right side and insert a longer rod that will include L3, L4 and L5. I am scheduled to have this done Wednesday, May 6th in Jackson at the River Oaks Hospital.

I appreciate all the phone calls that I have received, also all the prayers that have been lifted up for me. Anyone who has not been in a similar condition does not know how much I have missed by not being able to get around attending Lodges and just being with my Masonic Family. But I assure you that just as soon as I am able to get out among you Brethren, you will get tired of seeing my face.

I ask every one to remember me and my wife, Norma, in your prayers during this time.

Fraternally,

Fred
